Monopolistic policy to subvert fcc laws concerning broadcast stations

Fed up with the cable monopoly. It is bad enough that I now need a cable box to get basic broadcast cable they are now telling me after the fact that there is a $129 service charge to install the box on the floor in front of my tv(they do not install in cabinet or do HDMI hookup) DISGRACEFUL. Anywhere were Verizon is, installs are free and monthly service is cheaper.

The Email at Cablevision was changed without notice to the consumer. Some people that have the service are not happy with the new format.

Please change back to it's original format so that I don't have to change services. Although Cablevision is not bad I well not hesitate to go to another company.

I am trying to get the DVR service fixed called twice left the # to call back me which they did, told them the problem she told me she would place me on a BRIEF HOLD.I hung up after 55 minutes.

Terrible service for an outrageous price. We here in this section of Mahwah are being held captive by them. We have no choice here for any other service.nono

I WANT A REFUND FOR 3 MONTHS OF NOT GETTING THE SERVICE AND NOT GETTING IT REPAIRED OR REPLACED, FOR CURSING TO ME ON THE PHONE AND SENDING TECHS THAT DO NOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND NEVER FOLLOW UP!!! I PAY ALMOST 400 A MONTH FOR CABLE I WANT IT ALL BACK FOR 3 MONTHS AND I WANT IT FIXED!!!!!

I HAVE HAD CABLEVISION IN NJ for 20 years, If FIOS was in my area they would have been gone in a heartbeat. Recently in the last month and a half, i have called and had techs come out to fix and increase cable speed, (which was supposed to have been done months before) but the speed is still slow and i am PAYING FOR IT to be faster!

Techs have been here FOUR times, they came to change the boxes to which i was never told i was getting ALTICE, hate it, internet drops 3 or 4 times a day even more, so i got altice, internet drops constantly and i have people who work from home so not good, called again, techs came couldn't fix it, called again tech came said maybe the box outside isnt' working checked it wasn't sure, but left and never had anyone come to check it. i called before he came to tell them to take OUT altice i hate it and give me my old stuff back, the back office did NOT tell him that and he came with nothing! as of today, the internet is still dropping constantly and the devices cannot even find it when they search. cablevision has not sent anyone else and has not called, we asked for TWO different supervisors and they never called either.

I am writing to BBB to file complaint and want compensation for the hundreds of dollars i spend every month for this less than poor sercvice.

oh, btw, the sales person cursed at me on the phone when he thought i was on hold, and i told him i heard him, guess what, disconnected!!!!! NOTHING IS FIXED AS OF TODAY!!

No signal. No service.

It's been 3 1/2 weeks so far. Hard to get an agent on the phone.

When you do they are not helpful at best or liars. I have had 4 technicians visit. All say there is no signal at the pole or into the house.

All are diagnostic techs. Apparently th he company employs no REPAIR techs.

The representatives lie and cheat, they say anything, they are not trained for the work they do

called cablevision for a problem on the internet, the representative could not solve the problem and told me that a technician should come to my house, I asked him if there would be any charges and he said no, for the second time I asked him and he returned to say that they would not charge me anything, when the technician came home it was something super simple to fix that he was surprised as the representative from the office could not solve the problem, my surprise was great that the next day I see the collection of 86 dollars For the technician's visit, I immediately called very surprised and they indicate that they cannot withdraw that position, so I asked them to review the recording where the representative (inexperienced) indicated to me TWO times that there would be no cost, they indicated that an inspector would call me in 24 to 48 hours, after three days I called again and they told me the same thing I called again 5 times and they tell me the same thing, 24 days have passed and I am still waiting for an inspector to contact me, it is not the mon to what bothers me is that there is no seriousness with this company they think they can make fun of customers saying anything, we will see how much longer it takes to communicate with me.

Los representantes mienten y enganan, no son capacitados para el trabajo que realizan

Llame a cablevision por un problema en el internet, el representante no pudo solucionar el problema y me dijo que deberia venir un tecnico a mi casa yo le pregunte si habria algun cobro y el me dijo que no, por segunda vez le pregunte y me volvio a decir que no me cobrarian nada, cuando vino el tecnico a casa era algo super sencillo de arreglar que el se sorprendio como el representante desde la oficina no pudo solucionar el problema, mi sorpresa fue grande que al dia siguiente veo el cobro de 86 dolares por la visita del tecnico, inmediatamente llame muy sorprendida y me indican que no pueden retirarme ese cargo , entonces pedi que revisaran la grabacion donde el representante (inexperto) me indico en DOS ocasiones que no habria costo , me indicaron que un ispector me llamaria en 24 a 48 horas, a los tres dias volvi a llamar y me dijeron lo mismo volvi a llamar en 5 ocasiones y me dicen lo mismo ya pasaron 24 dias y sigo esperando que un inspector se comunique conmigo, no es el monto lo que me molesta es que no hay seriedad con esta compania piensan que pueden burlarse de los clientes diciendo cualquier cosa, veremos cuanto tiempo mas tardan en comunicarse conmigo.

1st time >;;;;;;;I can't get out so they gave me info and where to buy inside splitter.

Now they refuse to give me info on the outside splitter and they won't mail it.

I don't get out as I'm terminally ill.

It also takes many calls and 20 minutes talk to a tech.

Took a total of 2 1/2 hours on calls and for 2 days was told to call back the next day each time due to some reason or another. Finally flipped and asked to speak to a mgr.

within 10 minutes was back on. Then I got billed for reconnecting service. Also was told to go to the store and would get a Senior discount. Drove 20 minutes and was informed it was only a $1.00 discount and I did not quality because of my income.

Would have been nice to be given that information before I drove there. A total of another hour waste of my time

*** horrible, I was disconnected for no good reason and after hours of being channeled to one department to another I still can’t get service, this is by far the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with, for all you people out there that have a choice for FIOS or something else, go for it! I don’t have a choice where I live so I have to use this horrible company. My advice to you, stay clear!

I have been calling Catv for 3 days and I finally someone answer the phone and just put me on hold. The volume of calls doesn’t say much for your service.

I don’t have internet connection and my modem isn’t working and I can’t even report it because you can’t get a person to talk to. Do you have that many customers or just lousy service?

I agree they are rip off artists. they talk to you nicely and go into your back pocket so to speak to rip you off.

I had and have a problem with the new altice one box service. the box is always crashing. no internet and no phone service when that happens. the last time a service rep came to my house he replaced the box, offered for me to come outside to fight because I told him he was late.

was supposed to be here between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and came closer to 6pm. he saw fault with the box, replaced it and left with the new box not even fully up and working. I had to navigate on the phone with cablevision to get it started after the rep left. so It was the box problem but I was charged 80.00 .

I'm about the cancel service with them. they are full of crap.

Price Gauging and False Advertising

They place a price menu as an insert with your bill, then, when you want to cancel services that you don't use but want to keep those that you do - their prices triple and the price they quote is nowhere on their price "menu". When you ask about it - you are told - those prices don't pertain to you.

Really? They make it impossible to cancel any services - I'm patiently waiting for 5G when we can all kiss them good-bye.

I think the new black remote controls stink! They are all black and hard to see especially for seniors!! Bring back the silver ones!!!When you push fast forward or reverse it takes a couple seconds to stop, very annoying!

I called 3x was told sorry we did all we can do on our end we will send a tech on monday ....monday what about the rest of the weekend no tv or Wi-Fi i have a disabled person who watches the tv needs it to start the day...wth attitude of customer service sucks i never had a problem before with them before they gave me this altice box and on top of that i have no tv and they wont credit me the time with out service....cablevision you suck im gonna swith to fios

Terrible Customr Service

I recently moved out of the area and switched over to another cable carrier. I handed in my equipment and was told my last bill will be mailed to my new address.

I No bill ever arrives but 6 weeks later they call my cell to tell me In in collections for non payment. But the women calling couldn’t help me understand while the bill was so high. So, I call Customr Service and it goes south from there. Nasty customer service folks who couldn’t even find my equipment paperwork.

Then I request a call back from a supervisor. They don’t call which has me call a week later. Again met with a nasty and condensing Customer Service Representative who tells me it’s policy that I have to pay the full billing cycle even though I HAVE NO EQUIPMENT since I turned it in. I ask again for a supervisor and the.

Ask for the VPs name and he wouldn’t tell me. I explained that I was just going to google it. He told me to β€œGoogle Away”. Finally, a call from Pam from corporate and again she tells me that it’s Policy to charge customers for service for a full month.

I asked her if she would pay a bill from the doctor if she didn’t receive any services. And she told me that she was sorry but she wasn’t going to move on this. Because it’s policy! I will never go back to this company even though I can at any time.

I was a customer for 32 years and each step of the way they didn’t handle any of my situation right.

Think before you choose this company. They are not pro customer.
